Adult Count Me In: Intro To Blind Wine Tasting at SF Wine School

Sign up now, so you don’t miss out on this limited Adult Count Me In event!  The San Francisco Wine School (owned by St. Anne Parent and Master Sommelier, David Glancy) is offering a private Intro to Blind Wine Tasting Event for 16 people on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6 PM to 8 PM.  For only $75.00, you will learn about the physiology of taste, how to evaluate acidity, tannin, residual sugar (RS) and other structural elements of wine. This is the perfect foundational class for wine lovers of all experience levels! You and your guests will have a blast learning professional blind wine tasting techniques at San Francisco Wine School. Begin with a short sparkling wine reception while enjoying their gorgeous new Wine Education Center. Then have a seat for your private edu-tasting with David, who will teach you how to identify varietals, region, and age based on sight, smell and taste alone and how to talk about wine using a common language. Discover what characteristics you like and don’t like and become a more savvy consumer. Once you’ve got the hang of the techniques, you’ll break into teams for a friendly competition where you can try to identify 2 wines on your own. This makes a fantastic social event or team building exercise and will surely be a hit with your group.
